-
Our costs are dependent on the menu, service style, diversity of options, travel time, etc. so it is highly variable. Our average weddings come in at about $200/pp and include many of the services that conventional caterers consider "extra". We do not know of another outfit doing 100% organic farm to table food. If this is a priority, consider the investment in the context of your budget. We often work with couples to find a menu and options that fit with their overall budget.

We have catered events as small as 7 to up to 400. We can offer cocktail parties with heavy appetizers, full multi-course menus, or even a simple dessert reception. The sky is the limit! We are interested in bringing our farm’s food to your table no matter what your event looks like.

Due to the seasonal nature of our food, we may not be able to prepare every menu item, and we will not utilize live fire to cook the food (unlike at your event, where we typically cook food over an open fire). However, we can definitely showcase what we have at the time of the tasting!

After the event, you can expect a Post Bill (or credit), which will reflect any plate adjustments, vendor plates (billed at 50% of total guest cost), reimbursement for ice ($4 per bag), the return of the $200 damage deposit (if rentals were used) and the like.

We ask that you don’t include your vendors in your final guest count, unless they are coming as a guest as well. Vendor plates are billed at 50% of the per plate cost, in the spirit of camaraderie! Farmstead staff do not factor into the total vendor number. We will cover our staff needs while on site.
-
Final guest counts are required 30 days prior to your event. After this point, we would only be able to accommodate increases at 150% of the per plate cost, and we wouldn't be able to accommodate any decreases.

No. We welcome any gratuities at or immediately after the event if you are pleased with our services. Each menu we create is completely different from the last, making it hard to share a sample menu with any client! Our menus and the plates we will serve at your event will be entirely unique to you and the event you want to create. We aren’t comparable to our “competitors” — we use organic ingredients grown on our farm, we pay our staff a living wage, our staff to guest ratio will be higher than any other because we focus entirely on you and your guest’s experiences. Our pricing and menus are going to be different for each event, leaving it impossible for us to share sample menus… we want to meet you, and create something with you, so reach out!
